MA in Digital Art History | Class of 2017
Ju-Yu (Ruby) is an MA student in the Digital Art History program. Her research interests are exhibition narrative, visitor behavior, and digital heritage presentation. She was a specialist in Cultural Heritage Department of Yilan County government in Taiwan (2013-2015), in charge of supervising the reuse of historic buildings, hosting Cultural Heritage Review Committee, and managing projects such as heritage research and subsidy application. Her previous job was a docent (2012-2013) in Yingge Ceramics Museum, New Taipei City, Taiwan. She provided guided tours for general and particular groups (e.g. vision-impaired) and assisted with content development for special exhibitions. Inspired by her working experiences, she seeks digital and innovative approaches to combining these components together and experimenting on them. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Business from National Taiwan University and spent one year exchanging in France which gave her collaborative working and international experience.
