Undergraduate Research Fellowship
Class of 2019 | Major in Mechanical Engineering, Minor in Medieval Renaissance Studies

I am from Destin Florida, a small town in the panhandle of Florida. I am currently a member of Air Force ROTC and will commission in May as a 2nd Lt. After I graduate, I am staying at Duke for another year to get my Masters Degree in Engineering Management from the Pratt School of Engineering. Although my area of study did not relate to the medieval era, I found the architecture and way of life fascinating. Through classes like “Medieval Castles of Europe” and “Medieval Christianity in film and fiction” I was able to explore and learn about something I might never have been exposed to. The Wired! Lab projects further allowed me to fuel my curiosity about medieval architecture.
